Desperate Times?

It would seem that certain members of the scale trade are getting desperate.
Today I came across an advert on a website for a offer that is too good to be true.

Seriously….. 40% off RRP, with prices like that how long do companies expect to exist for? Typical brand name manufacturers work on around 35-40% margins, how is it possible to give away that margin and still make a NET profit at the end of the year?

Smoke and Mirrors?

It’s advertising jargon to reel customers thinking they’re getting a great deal, the reality is the products on offer are not worth the claimed RRP and claiming 40% off is disingenuous.

Snake Oil? Maybe…

It’s damaging to the scale industry to make outlandish claims such as these.
