The UWE IP-500 label printer interfaces with the ASEP retail scale via RS232. The ASEP send weight and price data to the printer which stores a formatted label design.

The printer can use preprinted labels with supplier details such as “Dairy Queen Farm” or can be programmed with this information to be printed on blank labels.

The solution allows for barcodes to most standards for shops. The barcode can store all the information about each product, such as date time, weight price etc.

The labels are easily designed by using the label design software supplied with the printer. We have designed several labels for clients who want a ready to go systems for their prepacking area.
